These terms govern studies, maps, readouts, and reading practice booked with App Studio Core (“we”, “us”) by a client (“you”). By sending an enquiry, paying a deposit, or signing a quote, you accept them.
The work
We provide professional session analytics as described on a written quote: reading a locked sample, writing a memo or map, holding a readout, or running practice days. We do not sell software, hosting, or a viewing product. Informational rates on this website are not an offer until a quote is issued.
Your responsibilities
You confirm that session files were gathered with a lawful basis and that you have the right to share them with us. You must not send files that show children, payment card numbers in clear view, or medical images beyond what a booking screen already displays. If such material appears, we stop that clip and notify you.
Intellectual property
You retain rights in your app, recordings, and internal documents. We retain rights in our method notes, house rules, and the literary form of memos and maps we author. Upon full payment, you receive a licence to use the delivered memo, map, and appendix inside your organisation, including with contractors under confidentiality. You may not publish a memo that still contains guest identifiers.
Confidentiality
Both parties keep non-public materials confidential for three years after the study ends, except where disclosure is required by Malaysian law. We may describe a study in general terms (industry, stretch of screens) without naming you, unless you ask us in writing not to.
Liability
Our liability for a study is limited to the fees paid for that study. We are not liable for lost revenue, product decisions you make after reading a memo, or delays caused by late samples. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such limit is not permitted.
Calendar and changes
Dates on a quote are estimates until the sample is locked. Changes to screen scope after lock are change requests and may move the end date.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Courts of Malaysia, including those with jurisdiction in Penang, have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, after a good-faith attempt to resolve the matter in writing within thirty days.
