Studies

Studies we take

Each study is a bounded piece of session analytics work: a sample, a time window, and a written account. Choose the shape that matches the question you already have.

We do not sell access to a viewing room. You send (or sit with us while we collect) a sample of sessions. We return annotated notes, a findings memo, and — if you booked it — a readout in person.

If you are unsure which study fits, start with the full session study. The others assume you already know whether you care about paths, a briefing, or practice for your own staff.

Full session study

Usually three to four weeks after the sample is complete · Quoted per sample size and screen scope

A sampled set of app sessions, annotated by hand, returned as a findings memo with an appendix of timestamps you can replay.

Small group seated around a table during a working session

In-house reading practice

Spread across two or three weeks · Quoted for a group of four to eight

Three half-days with your staff, using your own sample, so they can annotate a session without leaping from a pause to a story about the guest.

Handwritten lists and a planner spread on a desk

Path mapping

About two weeks after the sample is locked · Quoted per screen set

A drawn account of how people moved screen to screen inside sampled sessions, with branches that actually occurred — not a hoped-for happy path.

Two colleagues talking across a table in soft daylight

Stakeholder readout

Booked after a memo is issued · Fixed fee per briefing

An in-person briefing in George Town where we walk a prepared group through timestamps from a finished session study, without adding new claims.
