This page applies to professional session analytics work quoted by App Studio Core. We do not sell goods by post, software licences, or class recordings, so those models do not appear here.
Eligibility
Refunds are available only for fees you have paid to us for a named study, map, readout, or practice booking. Informal emails are not invoices.
Timeframe
Write to hello@appstudiocore.click within 14 days of the event you want considered (cancellation, missed readout, or a memo you believe was not delivered). Requests after that window are considered only where Malaysian law requires it.
Full refund
A full refund of the deposit and any further fees paid applies if we cancel a booking for reasons on our side (illness covering all readers, studio closure) and we cannot offer a new date within 21 days.
Partial refund
If you cancel more than 10 days before the agreed sample-lock date, we refund fees paid minus RM 400 for intake time already used. If you cancel after sample lock but before the memo is issued, we bill for reading already completed (logged days) and refund the unused remainder. There is no refund of fees for work already delivered (a memo sent, a map printed, a readout held, a practice half-day completed).

- Intake time once a quote is accepted and the calendar slot is held, up to the RM 400 described above
- Printed maps already produced
- Third-party room hire you asked us to book in your name
Process
Send the quote reference, the reason, and the account name for a refund. We confirm in writing what we can return. Approved refunds are processed within 14 working days.
Method
Refunds go back by the same channel as the original payment where possible, in ringgit. We do not refund in kind (extra reading days) unless you ask for that instead of money.

Cancellation and rescheduling
You may reschedule a readout or a practice half-day once, with at least five working days’ notice, subject to a free slot. A second move is treated as a cancellation of that date. Sample-lock dates move only by written agreement; a late sample is not automatically a free delay.
Deposits
The 40% deposit holds the slot. It is credited toward the final invoice. It is refundable only under the full-refund and early-cancellation rules above.
No-shows
If nobody from your side attends a booked readout or practice half-day, that date is charged in full. We will send the materials already prepared (for a readout, the existing memo; for practice, the day’s drill sheet) but we will not repeat the date without a new fee.
Work already started
First-pass logs begun after sample lock are “work already started.” Stopping the study then does not unwind those hours.
Materials
We do not purchase custom goods for a study. Any printing of maps is billed as part of that study and follows the printed-map rule above.
Exceptions
If a session file we accepted later proves unlawful to hold, we stop, delete the file, and refund fees for reading not yet done. We do not refund reading already completed on lawful clips in the same sample.
