This notice explains how App Studio Core handles personal data when you visit this website, write to us, or send session files for a study. It should be read with the cookies page.
Data controller

What we collect
- Enquiries: name, email, chosen study, preferred date, and the message you write.
- Engagement files: session recordings or notes you send, plus any identifiers in those files.
- Website: technical logs our host may keep, and cookies as described separately if you accept analytics cookies.
We do not ask for identity card numbers, passwords, or health diagnoses. If a session file contains extra personal data, we treat it as part of the sample and restrict access to the named readers on the study.
Purposes and retention
Enquiry data is used to reply and, if you book, to administer the study. We keep unsuccessful enquiries for 12 months, then delete them. Session files are kept until the retention date on the quote (usually 30 days after the memo is issued) and then deleted from studio machines. Invoices are kept for the period required by Malaysian tax rules.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data we hold about you, subject to legal retention duties and to the rights of other people visible in a session file. To make a request, write to hello@appstudiocore.click. We aim to respond within 21 days.
If a session file shows a guest who is not you, we cannot always honour a deletion of that clip without also breaking the sample lock for a live study. We will explain the constraint in writing.
Processors
Our website host stores the static pages of this site. Email may pass through ordinary mail providers. We do not sell lists of enquirers.
International transfers
Readers work in George Town. If a client asks us to join a call from outside Malaysia, that call is still about files that remain on the studio machine unless the quote says otherwise. Should a transfer of personal data outside Malaysia be required, we will say so before it happens and record the safeguard used.
Children
Our studies are not aimed at children. We refuse samples that include a child in the recording.
Changes
We will update this notice when our practice changes and will mark the date of the last substantial edit at the foot of the page when we do.
